This novel captured the essence of a married woman's dilemma, the perception of having missed out on something as she raised a family among DCs African-American privileged ones. Lessons learned for wives n husbands too! Not too heavy but not too lite either! This book will touch a nerve in most folks.
Read a few pages right away, then put it down because I had lots of things going on and no time to read. When I pickeed up Luke Warm again - that did it! It was a real page turner. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end.
I enjoyed reading the entire book, especially since it was written around the metro D.C. area where I live. The characters were believable and easy to relate to.
